Condolence: Our family was so sadden when we heard of Randy's passing. We had gotten to know Randy over the past few years as my daughter plays high school golf. My husband and I enjoyed getting to visit with him on the course. Oh how he loved the kids and they loved him. He was so excited to be at State watching the kids play. It was neat to see him perched on various greens throughout the course watching Andrews Kids play through before walking to his next spot to watch them on another hole. What a special man he was. He will be truly missed by the kids, past and present and their families. Prayers for your family during this difficult time.

Condolence: Sandra, Darlene and Scott, we are so sorry for your loss. The favorite memories of my youth are entwined with the lives of Jack, Sandra and the boys. There wasn't a ballgame that Jack and Sandra were not there to cheer on our team. (Sandra continued cheering me on throughout my career.) Randy was, let's say, a couple of years younger than I. But he was a good athlete and a team player. Randy was not only a good athlete and a team player, but also a good person. All through his high school years, he exhibited excellent character that indicated where his future would lead--shaping the minds of young people. I know that he has helped many young people pursuing their dreams. Randy was also a good Christian. His abiding faith was present throughout his high school days. Time and events made us go different ways. So, it is with sadness that I read of his passing. May God bless him and his family. His body no longer is wracked with illness and disease. He has a new spirit--one that is nearer to God.
