Leopoldo Cruz, 69, of Andrews passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Dallas.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 PM – 9 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Cremation is under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. Leopoldo was born on September 9, 1948 in Nebraska to Jose Escobar Cruz and Antonia Garza Cruz. He was raised in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School in 1966. He lived in Andrews most of his life and was a carpenter and a painter. He enjoyed buying and selling things at his building in Andrews. He was Catholic and was preceded in death by his parents.

Leopoldo is survived by his 3 siblings, Guadalupe G. Cruz, Edward Cruz, and Norma Linda Rodriguez and husband, Rodolfo, all of Andrews.
