Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, and the family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 – 8 PM at McNett Funeral Home. Kathy was born on January 25, 1944 in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma to Floyd Edsell Williams and Mary Bell Triplett Williams. She was raised and attended schools in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma and Odessa, Texas at Odessa High School. She married Marvin Leon Friemel on December 23, 1960 in Goldsmith, and they moved to Andrews in 1974. She was a homemaker to her husband and children, and she was always loving on her family. She made sure to never missed any of her son’s events in school, and she was your typical grandmother that let her grandchildren get away with everything. She loved all types of flowers and plants, and collected dreamscickles. She enjoyed cooking for everyone, especially her cinnamon rolls and homemade bread. Marvin and she enjoyed traveling in the mountains in New Mexico to Red River, Cimarron, and Eagle Nest. In Eagle Nest, she taught Vacation Bible School for 33 years at a tent revival. They also worked river missions through the First Baptist Church in Presidio in Ruidosa, Texas. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Andrews, where she taught Girls Auxiliary, Vacation Bible School, 4th Grade Girls Sunday School Class, and she was a member of the Adult 1 Sunday School Class. Her faith and her church work were very important to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary Ruth Williams, and brother, Richard Williams.

Kathy is survived by her loving and faithful husband, Marvin Friemel of Andrews; 2 sons, Randy Friemel and wife, Susie, of Allen, Texas and Mark Friemel of Oktaha, Oklahoma; 1 sister, Donna Miles and husband, Mike, of Princeton, Texas; 1 brother, Robert Williams and wife, Lois, of Great Mills, Maryland; 6 grandchildren, Leonya Friemel, Zachary Friemel, Derek Friemel, Joshua Friemel and wife, Therese, Jacob Friemel, and Emma Kate Friemel; and 13 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society and First Baptist Church of Andrews.
