Brad was born on April 2, 1960 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Billy Joe Follis and Anna Gale Scott Follis. He was raised in San Angelo and graduated from San Angelo Lake View High School in 1978. He had been recently inducted into the Lake View High School Football Hall of Fame. He worked for Amoco, which later became Apache Corporation, as a pumper, in Odessa, Christoval and Midland for many years and within that time he had been promoted to Production Foreman, then Safety Manager. He enjoyed writing in his journal, working on Texas Crossword, and was very intelligent. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed teaching everything he knew to his children, grandchildren, and friends, so they could experience his love of the outdoors. He was a member of the Kermit Bass Club. He had worked endless hours with Make-a-Wish Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project where he loved taking them out hunting and fishing. He loved sitting on the back porch, watching the sunsets and having a smoke or sitting in a deer blind. He had been a member of the Lake View Baptist Church in San Angelo. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman and Aryless Follis and Barney and Sallie C. Scott and by his granddaughter, Braylyn Rose Shelton.

Brad is survived by his wife, Priscilla Ann Follis of Andrews; his parents, Bill and Ann Follis of San Angelo; sister, Denise Follis Fairchild and husband David of San Angelo, brother, James S.
