Brittany D. Martinez, 26, of Big Spring, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in Big Spring.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Maranatha Assembly of God Church, 1405 NE 301, in Andrews with Pastor Dean Williamson and Pastor Robb Foreman officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews Old Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home. Brittany was born on February 2, 1991 in Andrews, where she was raised and graduated Andrews High School in 2009. She married Joseph Lee Martinez, Sr. on November 26, 2011 in Andrews. They moved to Big Spring from Andrews. She liked to take pictures and enjoyed amusement parks, carnivals, and driving fast. She liked the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Cubs. Her passion was to be a mom and a homemaker for her family. She had been a member of Maranatha Assembly of God Church in Andrews and was attending Home Line Baptist Church in Midland. She is preceded in death by her mother, Rhonda Janelle Lamb on June 12, 2009, and her grandparents, Melvin Southern, and Clinton and Marlene Glenn.
Brittany is survived by her husband, Joseph Martinez, Sr. of Big Spring, 3 children, Abigail Mackenzie Martinez, Joseph Lee Martinez, Jr., and Elijah Lee Martinez, all of Big Spring, father, David Glenn and wife, Tina, of Houston, grandparents, Gary and Pam Stevens of Midland, 3 sisters, Courtney Rodriguez of Big Spring, Stephanie Thompson of Crown Point, Indiana, and Marybeth Glenn of Louisville, Kentucky, 3 brothers, Caleb Lamb of Big Spring, which Brittany raised like a son, and Jackson Glenn and Dylan Glenn of Houston, great grandparents, Lona Faye Southern of Andrews and Randall L. Stevens of Andrews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
