Terry Snow, 70, of Andrews passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017, in Andrews.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate his life at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church with Associate Pastor Jody Keesee officiating. A graveside service will be held in Alva, Oklahoma at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews. Terry was born on December 28, 1946 in Ferry, Oklahoma to George Junior Snow. and Olga Lena Melkus Snow. Terry attended school in Farry and was a member of FFA where he showed pigs. He graduated from Freedom High School in 1964. He entered the Army in 1972. Terry served for over 25 years in both active duty and the National Guard reserves. In 1991, Terry re-entered for a tour of duty in Iraq during Desert Storm.
Throughout the latter part of his life, Terry was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He enjoyed over 20 years of sobriety. He started a successful small business, Terry’s Painting in Andrews, Texas and then later built a dog kennel, The Pet Pad, also in Andrews, which has continued in the family and is now run by his daughter Jaymee. Most importantly, Terry became a Christian in 1999, and continued to grow in his relationship with Christ until his death. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Terry is survived by his daughters; Jennifer and husband Benjamin Hada of Andrews and Jaymee and husband Rene Medrano of Andrews, the mother of his children and lifelong friend, Joyce Snow of Andrews; four grandchildren; Samantha, Cody, and Matthew Hada of Andrews and Neil Medrano of Odessa, one brother; Larry and wife Marge Snow of Alva, Oklahoma, 1 nephew; Alan Snow of Alva, Oklahoma and 1 niece; Sherre McNett of Riverton, Kansas.
