Alejandra Carnero Hernandez, 90, of Andrews passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 in Andrews.

Viewing will be on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM at McNett Funeral Home. Rosary services will be at McNett Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00 PM Tuesday.

Rosary services will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Funeraria del Valle in Ojinaga. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Parroquia de Nuestro Padre Jesus de Nazareno in Ojinaga, Mexico. Interment will follow in Valle Nuevo Cementerio in El Mulato, Mexico.

Alejandra was born on July 26, 1927 in Julimes, Mexico to Francisco Carnero, Sr. and Severa Soto Carnero. She was raised in Delicias, Mexico and married Ausencio P. Hernandez in 1942 in Rosales, Mexico. They moved to Ojinaga and El Mulato in 1968, and he preceded her in death on January 17, 1975. She moved to Andrews in 1998 and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews. She loved to shop for flowers and was very loved and friendly to everyone. She loved to crochet and had made blankets for all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Manuel Hernandez in 2015, her parents, 4 sisters, and 4 brothers.

Alejandra is survived by her daughter, Delfina Salazar and husband, Benjamin, of Andrews, 2 sons, Wenseslao Hernandez and wife, Manuela, of Garden City, Kansas and Raul Hernandez and wife, Maria, of Hobbs, New Mexico, brother, Francisco Carnero, Jr. of Delicias, Mexico, 21 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.
