Cleo H. Cook, 97, of Andrews passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Andrews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Means Memorial United Methodist Church, 311 NE 2nd Street, in Andrews with Rev. Les Hall, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Cleo was born on July 22, 1920 in Bulcher, Cooke County, Texas to William Lee Milburn and Ella Florence Saunders Wilburn. She was raised in Nocona and graduated from Nocona High School in 1937. She attended Texas Woman’s College in Denton with her sisters. She married Kenneth Norvel Cook on June 24, 1939 in Jacksboro, Texas. They moved to Andrews in 1949 from Electra. They loved to travel and camp, and spent 50 years camping in Colorado at Pagosa Springs and Wolf Creek Pass. She loved to cook and bake, especially cookies and sweets for her grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Means Memorial United Methodist Church in Andrews, where she served on the bereavement meal team. She was a charter member from 1958 with the PRMC Pink Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on May 15, 1999, her son, Guinn Cook on January 7, 1988, 7 sisters, and 3 brothers.

Cleo is survived by her son, Carey Cook and wife, Carolyn, of San Angelo, granddaughter, Cheryl Sue Thames and husband, Lynn, of Andrews and grandson, Joe Clinton Cook and husband, Ken Barrett, of Dallas, two great granddaughters, Jessica Sutherland and husband, Joey, of Andrews and Jennifer Rampone and husband, Dominic, of Andrews, three great-great grandchildren, Alee, Graeson, and Hadlee Sutherland of Andrews.

The family would like to send our sincerest appreciation to Permian Residential Care Center and Permian Regional Medical Center Hospice, nurses, nurse's aides, and doctors.

Memorials may be sent to Means Memorial United Methodist Church, Permian Residential Care Center, and Permian Regional Medical Center Hospice.
