Lynn Hardee Crow
Lynn Hardee Crow, 73, of Andrews died in peace surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Andrews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the First Baptist Church, 201 NE 2nd Street, in Andrews with Pastor Brant O’Connor and Ronnie Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews Old Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 12 PM – 9 PM and Tuesday from 9 AM – 9 PM. Lynn was born on November 8, 1943 in Snyder, Texas to Morris Kenneth Hardee and Ruby Ray Roberson Hardee. She attended school in Ira, Snyder, and Tulia, where she graduated in 1962. While in Tulia, she was an all-state basketball player, playing with Tulia’s varsity team in the 8th grade before reaching high school. Later, as a member of the Seminole Junior Study Club, she helped organize a baseball program for girls as well as started the girls Little Dribblers basketball program. She attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She had worked for Swisher County ASCS, as a dental assistant in Lawton, Oklahoma, as a secretary for Fisher Ford in Hale Center, as a secretary for Jones Drilling in Seminole. She married Marcus Crow on January 27, 1977 in Odessa. They lived in Seminole and moved to Andrews in 1978. Her career with Andrews County and PBRPC started with the CETA Job Training Program, where she helped underprivileged kids find jobs for 9 years. She continued work for Andrews County as the Secretary for the County Judge, serving under three different judges (Judge Brown, Judge Gaston, and Judge Dolgener) from 1982 – 2003. She was a supporter and leader of the 4-H. Her family will remember her as a great homemaker, wife, and mother, where she loved canning, gardening, cooking, baking, and often shared jars of canned goods with family and friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Andrews, where she was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class and participant in their activities.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Marcus Crow of Andrews; 6 children, Blaine Kruizenga and husband, John, of Houston, Colby Lemmons and wife, Joanne, of Houston, Marcus Crow, Jr. and wife, Beverly, of Loop, Shelby Concotelli of Seminole, Becky McCann and husband, Fred, of Midland, and Brentz Mason and husband, Tim, of Andrews, and 15 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers at her service. She was preceded in death by her father in 2000, her mother in 2003, her brother, Dennis Hardee in 2011, and her grandson, Brice Emmerson in 1989.
