Margie Francis Neal, 86 , of Andrews passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in Andrews.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 AM Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Second Baptist Church in Andrews with Rev. Kevin Covington, officiating. Margie was born on December 15, 1930 in Ralls, Texas to Thomas Jefferson and Lillie Gertrude Hughes Bratcher. Margie graduated from high school in Artesia, New Mexico. She married F.E. “Woody” Neal on October 10, 1981 in Andrews, Texas. Margie enjoyed going to the Bratcher family reunions and she loved to play 42. She always enjoyed being with her grandchildren as often as possible. Margie loved her church and her church family, they were an important part of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Woody, 1 daughter, Frances Beatrice Payne, 6 brothers, Lynn, Orval, Earl, Carlton, Homer and Alton Bratcher; 4 sisters, Velna Connor, Vivian Jones, Mildred Ward and Beatrice Bratcher.
Margie is survived by 1 daughter, Debbie and husband Matthew Parrent of Andrews; 2 sons, Richard Payne of Artesia, New Mexico, Jack and wife Carolyn Payne of Mission, Texas; 2 brothers, Burnice and wife Elizabeth Bratcher of Artesia, New Mexico, Glenn Bratcher of Washington, D.C.; 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
