Jonathan Ray  Smith
Jonathan R. Smith, 42, of Andrews, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at his home.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at a graveside service at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in the Andrews North Cemetery. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at The Church of God, 201 NW 4th Street, in Andrews with James Horne and Dustin Hays, officiating. Jonathan was born on March 28, 1975 in Clarkston, Washington to Stephen Edward Smith and Vicki LeAnnette Wilda Smith. He was raised in Colorado and growing up he enjoyed hunting deer and elk near Gunnison, Colorado with his Dad and Granddad, and later with his three oldest sons. Writing, singing, and recording songs became a passion of his. He married Emilee Ann Brock on January 31, 1998. They lived in Colorado for many years and moved to Andrews in 2015. He was a member, Pastor and Overseer in The Church of God. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Edward Smith in 2015.

Jonathan is survived by his wife, Emilee Smith of Andrews, 6 sons, Nathan, Caleb, Luke, Ezekiel, Linus, and Seth, all of Andrews, 2 daughters, Abigail and Lydia Smith of Andrews, mother, Vicki Smith of Cleveland, Tennessee, sister, Rebekah Horne and husband, James, of Bessemer, Alabama, and grandparents, Jerry and Bobbie Wilda of Caldwell, Idaho.
