Sara Arreola Pando, 76, of Andrews passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 in Andrews.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Pastor Phil Marroquin and Pastor Efren Urquidez of Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Prayer services will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Sara was born on October 8, 1940 in El Mulato, Mexico. She was raised in El Mulato and married Eliaser S. Pando, Sr. on February 26, 1956 in El Mulato. They had lived in El Mulato, Eunice, NM, Wink, and Andrews. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, cooking, crocheting, and making blankets for her family. She loved Chuck Norris, “Walker Texas Ranger”. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.
Sara is survived by her husband of 61 years, Eliaser S. Pando, Sr. of Andrews, 4 daughters, Margarita Macias of Odessa, Dora Pando Estrada of Andrews, Rosa Pando of Andrews, Anita Tijernia of Midland, 2 sons, Arturo Pando of Mexico, Eliaser Pando, Jr. of Midland, 2 sisters, Mary Lou Pacheco of Odessa and Bertha Ramos of Andrews, 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
