Mary Carol McBeth, 65, of Andrews passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in Odessa.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 AM Friday, February 10, 2017 at Second Baptist Church, 107 NW 7th Street, in Andrews with Pastor Kevin Covington, officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home. Mary Carol was born on July 10, 1951 in Andrews to Joe Raymond McBeth and Lois Ruth Harris McBeth. She was raised in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School in 1970. She was a longtime resident of Permian Residential Care Center. She was involved and participated in the Special Olympics, where she won a gold medal in the 400 meters and a bronze medal in the softball throw. She had been involved with ARC Organization in Andrews from 1970 – 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Buddy McBeth, niece, Christy McBeth Hallum, and sister in law, Betty McBeth.
Mary Carol is survived by her sister, Paula Lynch and husband, Michael, of Odessa, brother, Terry McBeth and wife, Sheri, of Andrews, sister in law, Elizabeth McBeth of San Antonio, many nieces and nephews, her lifelong friend, Mary Jane Martin of Andrews, and all the residents and staff at Permian Residential Care Center.
