Christine Hill Butler, 67, of Andrews passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at a Graveside service at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 1, 2016 in the Andrews North Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews. Christine was born on April 17, 1949 in Odessa to Lloyd Ralph Hill and Rita Mae Boudreaux. She was raised in Monahans and graduated from Monahans High School in 1969. She attended college in Alaska and graduated from Odessa College with her X-Ray Technician Degree. She had lived in Alaska and Andrews for many years. She married Ronald Eugene Butler on July 12, 1992 in Odessa. She had worked as an X-Ray Technician for many years, specializing in Mammograms. She had worked with Benny Boyd Auto Group, and delivered vehicles. She loved flowers, her garden, bird watching, butterflies, traveling site-seeing, going to the casino, making beaded jewelry, and belly dancing. She was known as a people person, never met a stranger, and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father in 1986.
Christine is survived by her husband, Ronald Butler of Andrews, mother, Rita Hill of Andrews, 2 daughters, Lindy Cooper of Blooming Grove, Texas and Lisa Cooper Gould of Wasilla, Alaska, 2 stepsons, Steven Butler and wife, Christy, of Muleshoe and Michael Butler of Corsicana, 7 sisters, Susan Henderson of Odessa, Joan Gilchrest and husband, Wayland, of Artesia, New Mexico, Betty Hill of Odessa, Kay Middleton of Andrews, Kathy Morgan and husband, Wesley, of Andrews, Donna Hill of Nashville, Tennessee, Laura Hill of Arlington, 3 brothers, Albert Hill and wife, Sharon, of St. Francisville, Louisiana, Curtis Hill and wife, Isela, of Andrews, and Carl Hill and wife, Debbie, of Pacific, Missouri, 4 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
