Obituary for Georgia Bowers Peoples (Tinnin)

Georgia B. Peoples, 96, of Andrews passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016 in Andrews.

Georgia B. was born on July 20, 1919 in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma to George Elmer Tinnin and Nell Bowers Tinnin. She married William Maurice “Pinkie” Peoples on February 12, 1939 in Pampa, Texas. They moved to Andrews in 1948 from Crane. She owned and operated Andrews Flowers and Gifts for over 30 years. She was a member of the Andrews Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on November 5, 1994; her son, J. Craig Peoples on April 8, 2005; her parents, and her sister.

She is survived by her nephew, Robert G. Patterson and wife, B.J., of Los Angeles, California.

Memorials may be sent to the Andrews Senior Citizen Center, 310 West Broadway, Andrews, Texas 79714.
